You can send to either the above, and it still works!
This in addition to the other two 'accounts'
[email protected]
[email protected]
If there is anybody called 'OldUser' or 'NewUser' and you get e-mail as these names are for demonstration only

Internet speed, faster than fast
Boffin's at Stanford Linear Accelerator Center, California to Amsterdam 6,800 miles apart. Sent data using fibre optic cable at a rate of 6.7 gigabytes in under 2 minutes. ie. 823 megabits per second .
In English, transfer the data of about two DVD movies in under two minutes.
DVD movies, Amsterdam
Back here in TW land, we get error message 500 all day when trying to access our e-mail.
Still channel 890 has an extra page about Sky, and 400 has a 4-at-a-time view that crashes when the red button is pressed, so it must be worth winding up customers

What a week! Two box swaps, and block-o-vision, TW
seem to think a TV picture is 16*16 pixels zoomed-up
For a day, they took Frontrow off. Pitty they did not fix ITV2, amongst others.
Still my e-mail is not sorted.
I can send and get e-mail to acount 1 now - yay... But if I do send, there is no sender info... Just a syntax error, if viewed as HTML on a PC
Account 2 + 3, still bloced with an error code.
It's rubbish! They say it's free? No, it form's part of a package, and they are not keeping thier part of the deal!
Now on the bill £10 for phone, and £3.50 for TV package.
So Febuary, March, April, now May, The very least they could do is refund the £3.50's, for the month's of failed service.
Would anybody care to comment?

That typo was killing me.
Have you ever thought about setting up a TW complaint's entry. Then emailling TW and asking them to look at some of the complaint's their customers are having?

Is this not a friend of Digibox off shoot? Ahh should ther be a "Digibox, e-mail, and other Telewest Complaint Forum". Then we could list the nonsence TW
come out with...
"It's a national fault"
So does that mean they are failing to provide a working service at national level?
If so, compensation for customers, that are paying for somthing, yet still don't get.
Go into a pub, order a pint, pay for a pint, but only be given a half... Is it OK if the barperson states they always provide short measure?

Email is one of my bugbears too, especially cos it keeps getting downsized in the "upgrades".
It's part of the Friends, but it's only a thread, I was just thinking if it had it's own dedicated forum and other people knew about it, we might get some action. Just a thought.

Yes, you may have somthing there
I was wondering about a web site. £2.59 for a .co.uk For all the true stories, out of service log's.
www.teleworse.co.uk
Yup a specific space, may be a very good idea, as it need not be just about the Digibox. Thing's like 6p connection charge on 'free' local calls. So local for the sake of 6p, you may aswell just not bother waiting for 8pm, the weekend, just send an e-mail - DOH! e-mail is bust LMAO.

hi guys....
as far as i remember [unless things have changed while i was away] we have a suggestion box for all these good ideas... it can be accessed from the quotes section [ A909010 ]....
and of course you're welcome to start a dedicated thread for that subject on the
LDers' Advice Corner page [ A1027171 ]... as it will be one of the links that will be posted when "LDering" newly arrived ex-LDers on here that should be relatively well known after a while...
the page will start pretty soon as well [as soon as i'm fully back online...] so we should be busy again quite soon as well...
talk soon...

Hi loup
Cut & Paste it if you wish.
I think what we were saying was to have a dedicated entry rather than just a thread, which get lost from time to time. I'll knock something together a little later, maybe you could then link to it from some of the other LDer projects.
jab: Good ideas, but most TeleWest users can't access external sites, that's why I was thinking of one for the h2g2 TeleWest customers and again to cover all aspects of TeleWest rather than just digibox problems looks good.

kow...
i will link some LDers entries to it as soon as it's ready... if you add 201567 to the researchers credit that will also make it appear on the LDers Space which is another way of getting it known...
once i'm fully back i will write another journal entry so that will be announced there as well...
talk soon

AND on that web site ye shall put a re-direct to the h2g2 entery, for all to see.
Has anybody put anything on the web, so when you search for LD/Digibox it finds hootoo?
Yep, you may find a refrence to it, and the BBC, but I mean a primary find, with info, and a few links.
