Beware of spoilers (in case there's anyone about who hasn't read the whole thing yet!)
Got the book around noon on Saturday and read the whole thing in 7 hrs 10 minutes! Fascinating. The new, "darker" tone was very appropriate for this book. I have to say that I absolutely LOVED all of the information that was given about Sirius' past . . . and I did cry when he met his untimely death. The Weasleys were great - yes, all of them, although Percy was exasperating. I do hope he comes to his senses in books 6 and 7. Umbridge was infuriating, and it's worth note that the scenes between her and McGonagall are some of the best in the book. Some of the Order members weren't quite what I expected, however, and the Marauders flashback was just . . . well, I'm still recovering from that. Not what any of us wanted to see, I think. But overall this was definitely one of the better books in the series . . .

I HATED UMBRIDGE! Ya know how you hate snape alot when he's mean to harry, and you hate malfoy, but you just have to hate Umbridge EVEN MORE! SHE PISSED ME OFF SO BAD! And yes, her and McGonnagal's quarreling definitely made the book worth while The ol' McG's sure got an attitude!

"Have a biscuit"
and I love the stuff Flitwick did
"Thank you for taking care of the fire works for me proffessor umbridge, I'd have done it myself, but I wasn't sure I had the authority!"
and when he left part of the swamp on the 7th floor and roped it off, after getting rid of it in 3 seconds!
gotta love Flitwick
But I can't wait for it to be a movie, to see Magie Smith (plays McG) say and do the stuff she did, it'll be great
