Right I'd forgotton this place existed.Must do something about the dust and cobwebs.
Have to say I can't see anything interesting to read in here.Perhaps fellow members can make up a suggestion list for some new books?

What, like statues of him lining the walls?
Can we have the Harley Davidson guide to identifying and cooking roadkill on the engine of your bike? A real must have that one

RL shadow puppets - you know, rabbits on the wall, that sort of thing.
Please enlighten this ignoramus, what are shadow puppets in net slang?

Incog peers round door and checks no one else is in here.
Now to remove all books pertaining to incendiary devices and how to make them.I'll take them down the charity shop.

Hmmm!I wonder what all these tiny holes are?I hope we don't have woodworm.Or bookworms!
Now where shall I place these books I've err...acquired?
I wonder where our librarian is?Oh of course it's out of library hours on a Saturday afternoon.
I wish I understood why on a Saturday PM the library closes. After all it's a good day for all those who work 9-5 Mon-Fri to use their local ammenities but for some unaccountable reasoning they close for 1 and half days of the weekend.
So a novel idea(I make no excuses for the pun) would be to close 2 days during the week and open over the entire weekend.Oh whats that? They already close the equivilant of 2 days during the week.Does that include the hour they close for lunch?
Honestly trying to remember what days and which hours of which days the local library is open makes my

I wish they'd open earlier in the mornings! My library has an automated telephone renewal system which is great as I often haven't finished all my books by the time they're due back. I can even renew them after the library has shut & not get fined.

Anyone seen my copy of "Grannying for Beginners?" I left it here four-and-a-half years ago and I want to swap it for "Primary School - Helping Granny get to Grips"". (Doesn't time fly!)
No? Perhaps it's in one of those boxes in the Cupboard-under-the-Stairs. I'll go and look.
There's and in the kitchen if anyone wants to help themselves.

According to my rising-five granddaughter, she is going to tell me EVERYTHING - EVERY DAY about what she is doing at school when she starts in September, and wants to play teacher/pupils when she comes home - no guesses for who will be playing what!
I have been told that I must sit still, listen to what she says, and not to forget to ask if I need the loo! Hmmm! Echoes of her mother in there somewhere!
Still not found the book though. Did you have enough and ? Help yourself
