Do we have any pickled eggs? Not for me - for Kes - according to him they go well together with and ...
*looks at the display of various jars and pots*
Eh... if you find some, could you bring them to The Piano Event outside The Beer Tent - please?

Dear Titania
You must be feeling exhausted today. It really was a great show and wonderful organising. would you believe it, someone has just brought in some pickled eggs. So I shall take them over to the bar.
I believe the Festival will get going again tonight. I suppose at the same time. 8.30 BST.
Well done on the busiest conversations being your Harvest Festival It was a great idea and we had wonderful support from all the researchers ALL OVER THE WORLD. I wonder if it was the first virtual Harvest Festival? Next time we must have a stall for vegetables!!.
A fond AR1

Hi Dr. Monty,
Thank you for your good wishes. I am still such a novice at "chatting" on the line that I do not even know how I managed it last night!. I have instructions from Titania, but as it is late and my brain stops functioning in the early evening I do not think that I am going to be able to do what she asks me to. So I do not know what will happen to the pickled stall and your wonderful Camambert. Perhaps if the weather has not been too hot it will not have gone "off". Kind regards AR1

DEar Pheloxi,
What a brilliant idea! Next year we shall try and get some for the stall. In the meantime you will have to be content with the real thing!!. Goodnight and thank you for coming AR1

Are we repeating the Pickle Tent at this year's Harvest Festival? If so I'll package some up and bring them over.

We've got the Vegetable & Fruit Competition - maybe that would be suitable?

I thought that was more for the gardeners out there - sadly, like you, I only have a balcony and won't be growing any more prize runner beans, oddly-shaped carrots or humungous marrows!
Maybe, once judging is over, we can join in at the wine tent and offer nibbles alongside the tasting.
