i am increasingly becoming frustrated, i will try a smily. 
did it work. i've adopted u as a father figure lol. can i access sites other than bbc related???
its taking me ages to work this out, when i finally get engrossed the digibox switches itself off! ahhhhgh

yep... the smiley did work...
... so you already got the idea for the smileys...
also you can check if they appear properly by using the preview facility at the bottom of where you type the message...
as for accessing other sites it really depends if T.WEST got their firewalls up or not... it seems than they keep them up where i live...
... if not yep it actually could be possible to access other sites even if they're not BBC sites...

was on Mystical's space for hours...
because she was on a computer she used more space than allowed through a digibox...
i think now i do know what mistakes NOT to make with GuideML...
still twas worth it that's another LDers badge on display with link to the LDers space...

computer is on the cards for chistmas AND birthday...
now will i get it before christmas is another question... but yes we saw some second hand ones with modem and all on the local paper for around £150...
not bad for a start...
so if all goes well i will definitely get one relatively soon...

unfortunately it's one only for both christmas and birthday together...
