He can't give up all the financial advantages of being a Scot.
In the end like us all and it or not he comes under the general classification of being British.

"With the French Open looming, the 20-year-old Scot struggled again on the clay and was broken twice in the first set ..."
If he was English, would "the 20-year-old Englishman have struggled" or would "the 20-year-old have struggled"?

Come on Doc. It is the Britsh Broadcasting Company. How else are we distinguish between one Brit and another. How about a 20 year old Scotish Nationalist or a 20 year old Irish Muslem. It is time to make it clear that we are not all tarred with the same brush. Some Brits are better than others.

Someone (I think Glen Batholomew) on ABC News Radio described him yesterday as an Englishman. He must be doing well in something.

He won ... he's Britain's no. 1:
Andy Murray reached his first Masters Series final with victory over Ivo Karlovic in Cincinnati on Saturday.
The British number one came through 6-4 6-4 to set up a meeting with Novak Djokovic at 2000 BST on Sunday.

It happens. It all depends upon the 'nationality' of the writer.
Family first, YellaBelly second and English third. Become British and you loose your sense of national pride. Who would claim to be British in today's world?
I'd sooner be called a Pom.
That coming from Ancient Brit.
