natural law is a bad joke.
not only that, but it is not even consistant.
for example the exponents of this idea usually point to the prevelence of hetrosexual sex in the animal kingdom to point to the "rightness" of hetrosexuality, but inore the evidence of nearly a hundred species of animal in homosexual behaviour to point to the equally valid practice of homosexual sex.
the basic idea has lots of other problems in practice as well.
as to the article, it need punctuation to make it more readable, and it is currently unclear as to if the author is for or against the idea of natural law.
how about clarifying this point.

Sometimes there must be multiple uses.
Males would be in very much trouble if their sexual organ can only be used for sexual purposes. Or would priests be the only men allowed to pee, as they don't need the penis for sex?

Who designed that anyway? An engineer? Running a toxic waste line through a recreational area?

more likely microsoft programers, running a recreational area around a toxic waste line. (the waste function was there first!).

Natural law is a very big topic, and although this is a start, there's much more to be said on this.
A lot of gibberish is talked about nature, and it is appealed to by people all the time for all sorts of reasons. It's natural for man to hunt (therefore fox hunting is okay), homosexuality is unnatural (due to some very dubious biological argument), genetic engineering is meddling with nature (and therefore wrong). It's not just a Catholic error....
Much more to be said about this!!

So does natural law effectively forbid all technology?
It's interesting how "Mother Nature" seems to becoming like a God figure (mainstream-wise anyway). For all the people who think things that are unnatural are intinsically wrong, you could replace "unnatural" with "against God's will" or "heresy" and get the same argument.

Yeah, this entry is a little concise for me. It needs more meat, as said before there is a great deal more that can be said on the subject. A great start though .
