I don't think that this is a suitable Entry for the Edited Guide, as it condones violence and suggests that it is a positive action.

Also, I doubt if anyone would want to get beaten up for the fun of it.

Whereas "the bloodiest nutting match in the history of H2G2" doesn't?

They are fictional characters, who like in a world like ours but different and are imaginary works of fictions.

This, on the other hand, is the Earth Edition of the H2G2. Fiction has no boundaries.

And I remember some the rules of the Edited Guide to write about non-fiction and try not to be funny. And the Nutting Match isn't in Peer Review

It seemed funny when i wrote it.
If you condense it and follow the footnote, you know, the one that says you should just do the opposite, basically it says to avoid dressing in hot pink pantaloons while swearing at bikers...well, there weren't bikers in there, but...oh well.

I tend to agree with what the others have said. In it's present format it's highly unlikely to get into the Edited Guide.

However, if you were to rewrite this into 'How to avoid getting beaten up', you could make a contribution. It would have to be written in the third person, though and be factual.

You could include a section on what sections of the population are most likely to be the victim of a violent crime and how to minimise chances of it happening.
