Are we actually playing a Nid game in which case I am Nidded from my Stratford (Cryers Retort) my only option now is Taylors Retort which is dangerous during end game

hmmmm, good blocking tactic that means I can only play
Warren Street
now a it's anyones game, without playing the obvious directional doublet it should be end game in two at the most three moves (I would of course not normally discuss strategy but this is help any beginners who are having difficulty understanding what has turned into quite a complexed game)

I agree - first one should follow conventions and be a counter-clockwise Cirle line move (the famous CCCl):

OK, I could have played the ultimate move then but I will see if one of the beginners can see my deliberate error with the following diversion thus having the chance to make a decisive finish

Monument

Well played Leuconoe, but notice Dr. Megabite played a simulpost with Monument which would mean't we could have played a Gardener Retort to finish instead, never mind I will open the new game with said same retort
Whitechapel (District is wild for this game)

It seems reasonable to play stations you like rather than those you dislike.
As for me I can't call to mind any station that I really dislike, so I play stations I like, such as
Bayswater

All time favourite -
Heathrow Terminals 1,2 3
( favourite in the game that is, as for air travel I've never fancied it much. But that's a long story, altogether independent of recent news)

Simetra Posted Aug 18, 2006
