I have been analysing human behavior and I found a story I had written. I think it sums up humans pretty well.
I really do think that people should get to grips with themselves. If you take time to examine why you are jealous of something, and understand why then you can probably rise above it.
If it is jealousy that stems from some deficiency on your side you have two choices; alter it, or live with it!

Hi Zalisander, Peer Review is for factual entries that are headed for the Edited Guide.
You could try submitting this to the Alternative Writing Workshop Writing-Alternative. Good luck.

This is a nice story - do take Linda's advice.
If you are interested in analysing human behaviour you might like to visit my entry at A721162 - The Structures in our Lives. It's just one example of the sort of thing that goes through Peer Review.

I think what you are describing is not Jealousy, it is Envy. Jealousy is the desire to hold onto the things you've got. Envy is the desire to own stuff that other people have.

Martin Harper Posted Jun 18, 2002
Jealousy can mean the desire to hold onto the things you've got, but it can *also* mean "hostility towards ... one believed to enjoy an advantage", which is at least part of envy (meaning "...resentful awareness of an advantage enjoyed by another joined with a desire to possess the same advantage")
So, in that meaning, jealousy is directed at the person with the advantage, whereas envy is directed more at the advantage itself.

Having just had a peek at the home space, this Researcher has been around for a long time, posts sporadically and is absent for long periods.
Are you proposing a move, Bels?

On the contrary. As you imply, ZSF, it may be too soon for that. This entry is only 4 weeks into PR. The author could return here and remove the entry from Peer Review.
