Welcome to H2G2!

There's already an edited guide entry on Air Guitars at A88319 , written by none other than Mr Mark Moxon, our glorious leader, back in June 1999. It's well worth entering the topic you want to write about in the "search" box at the top of the page before starting your research, to make sure you're not duplicating what's already been done.

In this case, however, I think the guide entry needs updating, and I think you might just be the person to do it! Entry updating is the current buzzphrase round here, so I'm fairly sure you'll get some support on this. I think what both entries need adding is something about the World Air guitar championship, which I know exists, but know nothing about. Perhaps this is something that you could research! The update HQ is at A496451.

A general point - edited guide entries are always written in the third person (ie not using "I" or "my" or "our"). This is often one of the most difficult things for new researchers to get their head )or heads) around.

So I suggest a collaborative update might be the way forward. What does everyone else think?

Hi Otto. Thanks for the tip, originality was not something that I considered for my article. I think next time I'll look into some of the writing workshops on offer here at h2g2 as well. Could be a long road to getting an entry in the edited guide .. who knows?
