Jeremy (trying to find his way back to dinner)

Does that mean we are going to read something "official" from you?

Not unless you read italian I suppose. (Which you do, Jeremy, if I remember correctly, and Riccardo does, but does anybody else here?)

It would be slightly exaggerated to say that I can read italian fluently. So far I have only read one italian novel, which took me quite a while ...

It was "Piccolo Mondo" by Giovanni Guareschi, just by the way. I bought it in Brescello, where the "Don Camillo e Peppone" movies were shot. There's a little museum with lots of movie memorabilia.

I've read the Mondo Piccolo series smiley - smiley Politically it's as far removed from me now as it could possibly be, but I loved it when I was younger.

The good news is, my short story will be erm, short.

Ormy, Ellen, jazz, Terri, everybody, thank you smiley - smiley

Things are looking up. The article I wrote for a national women's magazine, with their head writer, has been given the thumbs-up by the editor, and will be out at the end of April. Time to write to the editor and make myself conspicuous.

Finally managed to have a serious conversation with Em last night, all the nonsense was doing my head in.

I wish he'd just come over though. I can't bear the thought of not seeing him for another two weeks smiley - sadface

You know Greta, I realized something Tues. evening while I was starting my kitchen duties at the club. While I don't read Italian, I Did attend a high school with a good, prominent Italian representation/contingent. I'm sure I could drop by St. Joe's & probably get a prompt translation, almost like one of those 1 hour photo places! smiley - winkeye

Why does some of my best thinking take place after the fact/in retrospect? smiley - huh Anyway, I might, in the process, get you a bit/fraction of a Canadian readership!
