Thanks for the comment, guys. I think that with a steadfast diet of tranqs and gin I will eventually get over the fact that this did not make the guide and be whole once again, one day 
I've just got back from my hols and have an unholy amount of email to get around to (oh, and some work stuff) but will be back to seriously play around here in a day or two. Once again, thanks to everyone who commented on this entry and I hereby shut my eyes and await its consignment to the ether.
