There's a spot at a local river called 'The Drowning Pool', where they used to throw unwanted kittens into the river. In a sack with a brick in it.
Don't worry though, I'm better now. All smiles.

Don't feel all better, go for it with the sack and brick - best thing for the tallentless wannabees IMHO

That sounds about right. I'm getting quite fed up with all the cover versions in the chart at the moment and as for Will's version of Light My Fire....

Does no-one write music anymore? I mean /decent/ music.
Talking of cover versions, that U2 cover by what's-their-faces... I nearly cried. With anger. Almost as bad as the All Saints' version of "Under the Bridge".

I quite liked The All Saints version of Under the Bridge, but there again - it didn't have Flea playing Bass on it!
I'm starting to feel a bit bad, as all I play at the moment is covers, but there again, we can't afford songwriters, where Will and the like can.

Covers are all very well if you're skint. I never sing any of my own material (mainly because it's rubbish and I can't read music, let alone write it.)
I like cover versions if they're good. I'd just rather not have them everywhere, all the time. I mean, how many versions of 'Unchained Melody' do we /really/ need?
Anyway. What covers are you doing?

Let's see how much of this I can get right....
Runaway - Bon Jovi
Don't stop me now - Queen
Carry On Wayward Son - Kansas
Don't stop Believing - Journey
Wanted Dead Or Alive - Bon Jovi (again)
Go Your Own Way - Fleetwood Mac
Zombie - the Cranberries
Keep The Faith - Bon Jovi (and there's one more to come)
Second Set:
It's My Life - Bon Jovi (frankly I think we should call ourselves Bon Jovi and have done with it)
Sweet Child Of Mine - Guns 'n' Roses
No More Heroes - The Stranglers (Oh my god - they let the Bass player sing this one)
Bat Out Of Hell - Meatloaf (the whole thing including pyrotechnics!)
Crazy Train - Ozzy Osbourne
Love In An Elevator - Aerosmith
Alice/Oblivion - Terrorvision
Song 2 - Blur
Doctor Doctor - UFO
Encores:
From Out Of Nowhere - Faith No More
Jump - Van Halen
We've just started doing How You Remind Me by Nickelback as well, but haven't played a "regular" set which includes it yet, but it will go in the first half.

Some good ones there anyway! Terrorvision do my 'bouncing around madly on a night out' songs, ESPECIALLY Oblivion.
Am just SO TIRED today because I was out four days in a row, on Friday night I was shouting for the DJ in the only rock pub in the Borders to play "some Aerosmith - come on, some pervy music for the chicks in the corner!"
There is a lot of Bon Jovi. Just change your name to 'Jam Bun Jovi' and have done.
