You've been missing some of the most finely crafted comedy ever produced on the far side of the pond. Next question?

Lots, evidently
I wish it was on C4 more often... or I had E4!

Bagpuss Posted Jul 15, 2005
I wish I could catch the first series somewhere, because I remember it being so great and I'd like to check the actuality. The new ones on E4 are starting to feel a bit stale, but at least the C4 ones are good.

The breast jokes start to wear a bit thin by the time you get to the third programme.

Bagpuss Posted Jul 15, 2005
Are you watching the new episodes on E4 there, GD? I ask because when I think of the classics I don't remember breast jokes, although perhaps they just weren't the classic bits.
"Bottom line, you are what you eat and you clearly just went out and devoured a big, fat guy, din'tcha?"

Channel 4's sister channel, available on cable, satellite and freeview. It mostly shows US sitcoms and Big Brother.

I was thinking about the first series shown, what, a couple of years ago now.

Ah, memory clears: Perhaps you're thinking of the Todd. He did get a bit wearing, but I'd hate for the show to lose him.

I'm not really here Posted Jul 15, 2005
I watched it when it first came on, but they keep putting it on at inconvenient times. It is good though.

McKay The Disorganised Posted Jul 17, 2005
The first series also tied together much better than the latest one, but I still enjoy the Doc Cox bits.
