My main bugbear at the minute is Windows XP not having a quick-click to take me back to desktop, which W98SE had. Anyone know how I can get one?

Mine's got one... I'm not sure where it came from though. It's just there in the quicklaunch bar.

Right-click on a blank bit of the taskbar and select "Show the Desktop".

I have one in the quicklaunch as well. It looks different from on older versions of windows.

Ah! Fixed it now...
I just seem to be spending all my time making Windows XP look more and more like Windows 98.

I did that when I got upgraded to XP at the Beeb - the IT people kept walking past and telling me I should upgrade. Oh the fun we had...
