But, in fact it's only been three years. Three years today in fact, so happy birthday to me.
Having said that, hootoo is indeed very life changing. Directly or indirectly, h2g2 has been responsible for my choice of partner, my choice of house, my choice of location and my choice of job. Can anyone beat that?
Nyssa, maybe...

I'm not really here Posted Feb 26, 2005
Happy anniversary!
I'm not sure I can beat it, but I can match it. I now have a full time career and I bought a house, thanks entirely to h2g2, never mind indirectly. And most of my close friends are from h2g2.
I've never met the partner of my dreams on h2g2 because my dreams appear to be too wild.

I think we are quite a few who can at least match it.
Congratulations!

And it was about ten past two in the afternoon that you joined, so that makes you right now, 3 years and about 15 minutes old.
Happy Birthday

You just trawl through your list of old conversations, substituting number into the address bar.
In you case, Bob, of the 1,937 conversations you are subscribed to, the oldest ones date from 12 Dec 2001:

If everybody has unsubscribed from it, then only the Italics, who have a way of interrogating the database directly, can find it. If someone else is still subscribed to the conversation, then it is conceivable that someone might stumble across it, but there is no systematic way for the likes of you or me to find it.

Well that's something of a relief.
It's a nice name. I've never objected to it.
