Had a catheterized optical scan of the interior of my bladder and prostate today (Th 5 Feb 2015), in addition to a dye contrast CT scan Tu 3 Feb 2015.
The CT scan shows new anomalies, I've got two ureters serving the left kidney, a ureca (dead end connection from the bladder to the navel) and, most salient, a 9 mm object in my right kidney, possibly a kidney stone, in an area where I've been getting persistent, if intermittant pain since 2008.
I've recently (Dec 2014) started a new medication for the prostate.
Doctor ordered another exam in six months to check progress on that.
Had to stop taking my anti-diabetic medication to avoid an antagonistic reaction with the dye contrast media used for the CT.
Hopefully will get clearance to resume anti-diabetic medication tomorrow.
