Oh yes, I agree, a bit Mercedes Lackeyish, but adjusted for teens.
Extremly enjoyable.
I find that libraries never know where to put her, for instance I found 1 book of Trickster's choice series in Juvenile and 1 in young adult.
I guess you have to read them to make up your mind.

THink my mates used to read her at school. Does she tend to catagorised as fantasy?
Unfortunately the book list contains links to articles in the guide, not just good authors.(Or at least, I think it does, it was compiled by the previous owner of the page)

I'm very excited about finding this page and now i've checked out the Bryson book (see other post)
