I've been a 'True Book Worm' since early childhood, and I still carry a few bad memories of 'encounters' with Bullies to prove it! 
I would Love to join!
My favorite genre is Mystery Novels, esp Brit / Scottish / Irish mystery series. 
I recently completed the 'Emily Brightwell' mystery series, and am eagerly awaiting the next in the series. 
Will post a review of the books I've enjoyed if anyone cares to read them.
