Hello Pearl and fellow Bookworms - I'd like to join!

I will commit to writing some reviews (well, I'll start with one and see how it goes down) but can't say for certain when the first one will appear, asap though.

My special interest is travel writing (usually the non-fiction kind) and I've quite a few books here that I could review. I've checked your archive list in the Post and could only see one of this genre so hopefully it'll usefully fill a little niche.

Cool.

I have a practical question - how do I put a book review somewhere? What I mean is, it's not a Guide Entry (or is it?) so how do I get space for it? Is there a thread somewhere for the person who does/edits the Post Book Reviews that I can send it to?

Does this make sense?!! smiley - biggrin

Makes perfect sense to me.. if you post the review in a conversation thread to this page - A1042859. Then the lovely Pinwheel Pearl will magically turn it into a book review in smiley - thepost!

That's OK, don't bounce until you get it, though, you could become seriously dizzy! smiley - silly

Have just totted up my travel books - over 20 of them plus lots set in real places/eras, blimey, will I be able to hold down my RL job?!

Anyhow, panic not, friends, I know you won't be wanting ALL of these reviewing one-after-the-other....folks who like fiction could get seriously bored!

Sensible, intelligent, marvellous. Pearl is a happy bunny to have on board.
