A Conversation for Growing Up in the 1980s
How am I supposed to repress memories if you keep reminding me??

I don't miss the 80s much. I do get quite a bit of amusement out of thinking about them - since that's when I was pretty much growing up, doing my thing, laughing hysterically at leg warmers, jeans rolled into cuffs (just so!) or tucked into jeans.
Turned up collars, poufed up hair, and a garage band in every neighborhood. Neon was all the rage, Coke was New or Classic, and TAB was still the "in" thing to drink. Michael Jackson was a strange kid instead of a bizarre man; Madonna was a Material Girl instead of a Material Mom and Van Halen was still wearing way too much makeup.
Ahhhh progress
