I've lived in the London Borough of Newham for over ten years. If you live there or just want to talk about it, post here!

I've worked in the borough in the past. People are really friendly and there's obviously alot going on. Shame the media always go on about it being the poorest borough and so on. Hope it's on its way up at last.

There's lots of money being pumped into it at the moment (though not always spent the most widely) - and we are going to get the international eurostar terminal at stratford eventually, so that should provide a bit of a boost. At the moment, they are really trying to promote the borough as a good place for artists and businesses. They're even leading the way with certain areas of technology.

However, all this tries to cover up the fact that Newham has some serious problems...

Newham sucks. Too much violence and too many yobs
