Hi Salmon,

I don't entirely disagree with you, but this really isn't suitable for peer review in its current form. I'd recommend reading

http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/classic/Writing-Guidelines

for more details for what's suitable for the edited guide.

Best wishes

Otto.

I agree this isn't suitable. One could make a convincing case that the current American President is rather stupid and dangerous. The evidence is out there. However, what you've written here is a poorly executed rant that seems to be confusing its points.

Two Bit Trigger Pumping Moron

Pretty weak and not really accurate.

Subjective, in first person, could do with major rewriting, even though I imagine most people see where you're coming from...

If you like it I have no problem with you. If you don't, I recommend you have a meeting with Mr. Pres, since it seems you both would have to have the IQ of broccoli. With cheese.

Don't get angry s_o_d, disappointed or even discouraged. And don't offend other people just because they are pointing out some shortcommings. It is just that this kind of entry is not what the guys who run the EDITED guide are looking for.

It seems that you are posting this into the Peer Review (PR) without a basic knowledge of how it works, or what the edited guide is. Read the guidelines. It seems that you are looking for a discussion forum. If that is the case PR is not where you want to post your stuff.

If you knew what PR and the 'Edited Guide' are then you wouldn't post something like this.

I've just noticed that you are quite a newbie... (You haven't even written anything into your personal space - for that reason none of the ACEs gurus or whoever visited you to give you some basic intro) I would suggest you to write a personal intro, and have a look at the links that the ACEs will drop on your space. And browse the guide for a while, do some reading - you will then understand a lot more than you do now.

In fact, broccoli would probably have a greater intelligence than any of us, with the sole reason that photosynthesis and transpiration are things that it can do with a bat of a chloroplast or xylem cell and which us mere mortals are quite unable to do.

The same with cheese. It can melt and solidify in such ways which many of us, I must say, are unable to do.

Such simple things are beyond us humans.

According to Locke, Berkeley, Leibnitz etc. intelligence is not to be equated with the capability of doing something. I *eat* broccoli with cheese. If they were more intelligent they'd find a way to avoid that. BTW: Broccolis are quite mortal too smiley - winkeye

The same with cheese, OK it can melt, but can it eat peanuts?

Okay, fine, you've got me there!smiley - winkeye

The point I was trying to make is don't insult broccoli and cheese!

Peanuts and cheese? Considering cheese doesn't appear to have digestive enzymes I'd assume that that was very difficult... but I may be wrong...

Don't give in so easily, Caper.
It may be that cheese and brocolli are our lord and masters. Mixing them together and eating them may be crucial for their next stage - a little like larvae turing into dragonflies or mosquitos.

Hiram Abif (aka Chuang Tzu's Pancreas)

isn't cheese made of digestive enzymes? or am I crazy?

meanwhile.... broccolae can eat peanuts, they just have to wait for it to get mulched up a bit, and who are we to ridicule their intelligence just because we don't speak the same language. and as with any fruit and vegetables we play right into their hands when they allow us to consume them. traditionally its how they get their offspring relocated and fertilized at no extra charge smiley - smiley pretty smart I'd say... of course us crazy humans have to come along and muck up the whole works with septic and sewage system.... such is life....

oh and as for the entry, it would be best if this thread was moved and I believe that is easiest done by the author...
