New to the site, in fact new to h2g2 so here goes, if i'm doing anything wrong please forgive.
The best advice I can give is to join the local Institue of Advanced Motorcyclists.Join and they will teach you how to ride safely but still have fun. Then when passed you could save upto a third off your insurance, not bad.
