Great start and you're right there does need to be an entry on your home villiage in the edited guide. Just erm one thing it does need to be in third person you know.
But if you could just change that - it seems edited guide material to me, though of course you might want to inculde a bit about the location of the place, (just outside birmingham) thought would putting that in ruin the repuation of it? (probably)

ok i will put it into third person.
it may ruin the reputation by saying its near bhirmingham... i could always say its by stratford, shakespeare country, that usualy helps. (even some americans know where that is!!)

Hi Lord Preston,
You should put this one through a spell checker as there are lots of spelling mistakes.
It might also help to say how to get there.

Well true you could do...it would hide the fact that you probably can get there on a West Midlands Daysaver from Birmingham.

Nice description of the atmosphere there, and makes me want to visit it (for more than 15 minutes!)
typos left: 'diputed' -> 'disputed', 'younger then' --> 'than', and 'near by' --> 'nearby'
Am I guessing right that there are green meadows with cows and sheep around the villages?
The entry would benefit from a few headers but that's a minor point.
Ceterum censeo: in the Guide with it!

YAY thankyou,
but unfortunatly there are no cows or sheep around these villages, although that is a comen image of a village, to calculate wether a place is a village or town or city etc it all revolves on a few important things, one being population. and unfortunatly niether dorridge or knowle have big enough populations to be granted status of a town.

Hi again *waves* just a couple of (more) points. Firstly I guess you didn't use guide ML, it's a shame because a few links would really improve it, have a root around the guide ML clinic, A187229 if you still can't face it why not dividend it up with a few headers, even if they're just "Knowe" and "Dorridge".

there are cows and sheep in Temple Balsall and we are just outside knowle..... lots of cows and sheep in fact, and green fields and everything
actually there are picys of temple balsall on my own web page off h2g2..... can be found by following the link form my h2g2 personal space
ne way nice work Lord Preston, I guess its about time that solihull got its own entry, although personaly i think that you should talk about the Massons (<-- cant remember how thats spelt now) which is were students used to while away time before touchwood opened
sorry about the constant TB thing, its just that i have met people who live in Knowle, drive past temple balsall on there way to work and still have no idea that its there
humm i might write a entry myself
