Yeaterday I went to fat club..well the new weight management clinic at my drs.
To my absolute horror she makes me 20 st (im 5ft9) with a BMI of 60!! Ive got to have a blood test on friday to see if my liver function n whatnot is ok for me to start taking weight reducing medication in a few weeks but in the meantime i've got to work on my eating habits n try pain relief for my back so im able get some exercise..no more sauage butties for me then 'munces salad sandwich'

That really sounds like a lot of stone, and it will take a while to lose them, so don't be impatient, they're not going to melt like butter in the sun.

Drink your milk! It has helped me shed a few pounds, since i started drinking milk and not water (!) with my lunch.

Actually they tend to advise more water n less milk here

Low fat, naturally. They don't advertise it much, but I remember reading about study where milk was the key difference between being successful or not on losing weight. *shrug* Shouldn't harm, at least?
