Crikey, she's pushing 60?

Hm, I do hope the young man she referred to was of a similar age group...

"Madam, would you PLEASE get your hands off my 15 year old son!"

*nerk*

Ooh, ooh, I'm going to see Mortiis! Wahey! Oh, and hopefully Placebo again with Lucie Wells and Deadwards, their concerts are enjoyable enough.

You wouldn't belive it, she looks amazing for her age, I mean you'd barely put her as mid 40. The young man was apparenly some bloke from some hairdresser sit com I didn't bother watching. Normally if you want to sidetrack her, you just mention David Beckham, and she'll be lost on the subject for hours...smiley - yikes

Oh yes, I could very much see that.. *sniggers*

Mortiis? *feels very behind the times*

Placebo! Unfair! Why do you get to go to goo concerts and I don't? *further sulking*

As much as I hate to say this, but urh, was the hairdresser person she mentioned called Ricardo? I only ask because I have a phobia of him. I actually screamed when I first saw that TresEmme advert... *shudder*

Behind the times! My goodness no! Mortiis. Consider yourself lucky that you don't know who he is, I consider myself lucky! No doubt you would tut. Uhhhm, tryyy... http://www.mortiis.com
Not sure if that's a real website, if it is yahoo, if it isn't, sorry for directing you to porn.

I'm only going to see Placebo because someone asked if I wanted to go, I've already seen them, am hoping they will be supported by the EMBLD again, no chance I know...

I was doing my Classics homework on the bus (yes, yes, I know, but in my defence, I *was* doing it last night until I fell asleep, I woke up with Greek Democracy stuck to my forehead) and this boy with foppish hair kept on staring at me, and his companion, another boy who was drinking coffee was watching him watching me. It was very unnerving. Not sure why I told you that. Anyway.

I dislike my Classics class. The teacher is lovely: witty, intelligent, politically aware etc. But the class *pulls face* I was doing some work in the common room because our other classics teacher was away, and they launched into the most disgusting, explict, smutty conversation I've ever heard be discussed amongst friends. Considering it's a Catholic girls school too... Well, actually, not that surprising... it is after all always the repressed ones. Oh, they were also very fond of Fcuk and Playboy. Not that surprising.

No, it wasn't. I know this by knowing by now that Ricardo is definitely not her type... smiley - erm

Wow...so Gollum actually broke into the music industry then? So nice to see.

Well, it's worth a shot! smiley - biggrin

Do I detect jealously? [on part of the coffee drinker, that is.. smiley - weird] I haven't attracted that many unhealthy admirers yet, but I am known to be rather oblivious to these kinds of things.

Eeegh. Most of the people in my classics class are friends of mine, apart from a very gay sounding goth boy and some guy caled Nathan, so it's all rather sedate. I think I've neatly avoided most of the circles who deal in smut...well, nearly most. The only class [as in body of people] I clearly don't like is my english class, but I guess you can't have it all.

Mortiis is a troll, not a hobbit. Nerp.

*sigh* One of my mini hamsters has managed to get under the floor boards and we've spent the morning trying to tempt him out from behind the cooker. No luck so far. I think he's fallen asleep. *groan* Whyy..

Silly me.

smiley - smiley Ack, don't worry about it, s/he'll come out sooner or later. We had the same problem with my youngest cat..she got up the chimney, under the floorboards, underneath the sofa.... It'll probably wait till dark to come out smiley - smiley

Have you heard anything about a class civ revision week in Derby yet? [next July]

I think he might have died. Erk. I saw him a few hours ago, but now it's gone deadly quiet no matter how much noise I make or what I tempt him with... I'm not really emotionally attatched to them. So I can't pretend that I'm terribly upset. *feels guilty*

No, can't say I have heard anything about it. What's the deal, is it all Classics classes across the country, or just a few?

*bemused*

It's 20 past midnight. Sigh. Not sure if I'll be able to sleep. I'm not really with it. I feel a tad unwell. Don't want to read. *shrug* The hamster's trying my patience.

I went to my Grandad's today, what a strange sense of humour that man has. He was greatly amused by my NIN tee-shirt. Now he calls me Nin. When my Mother explained they were a band he asked me if it was "a group with this *makes air guitar motions* is it a loud bangy one? What sort of bangy noises do they make?" I replied "Yeah, a bangy one, we call it 'Industrial'", which just amused him even more. Aaah, he's a great guy.

WEll, let's face it, if the damned thing is too stupid to figure out you *want* to be nice to it.. survival of the fittest and all.

All, I believe. Open application, anyway. Our Classics teacher merely mentioned it, but I thought, "hey, that would be a good excuse to bum around with Nate for a week, if I could talk her into it..". Master of subtlety, me.

smiley - sadface I had the same feeling unwell no sleep problem on Friday. In the end I played gameboy untill about 1:30, when I decided I really should go to bed. Hope you feel better smiley - smiley

Bless...He sounds like a pretty neat Grandad, Nin smiley - smiley

*feeble wave*

Howdy, apologies for the late reply. I have a spare moment, thought I would update you.

Well, the hamster situation has developed. They are now dead.

As for Classics, the matter of the conference keeps on escaping my mind in the lessons. I'm due to be sent homework via e-mail, so it might be possible for me to reply and ask my teacher about it. *shrug* Damn my addled brain...

I'm waiting for my PACE interview whilst taking advantage of the teacher free computer rooms and CD ROM capabilities and playing Rammstein's new album 'Reise Reise' out loud. Chloe's giving me funny looks, occasionally bursting into laughter. Understandable really. It's Rammstein versus NSync. Gag.
Anyway... PACE meeting. Yes. Joy. The teacher is a bit of a 'dude' though, which is always nice. There be gothic blood in them their veins, oi be sure of it. He came into school on non uniform day dressed in what appeared to be Camden finery. Amusant.

How's 6th form going? Anything note worthy happened? About the thing we were talking about, the whole "male friend thing"? Any new developments... in fact, let's start from the beginning, might help. What happened?

Well, we went to that Mortiis concert. Twas good, what I saw of it anyway. But I was distracted, so I don't have great memories of what happened with regards to music... except that the first support band were good. Sadly I can't find out what they were called. Groan. Ah well. C'est la vie. Etc.

Heh heh, music update. Chloe accidentally closed her NSync player window and can't find it again, so I took the opportunity to change my CD to In Extremo's greatest bag pipe solo's.. or something of that ilk. This is hysterically funny.

Could I ask you something. Does this scenario sound awkward to you? It's just that a friend doesn't seem to think it is...
Going out for a meal with your best friend, her boyfriend, and your other three best female friends. Or, in the other way going out for a meal with your girlfriend and three of her friends, all girls. Surely that would be a situation which would call for a gun?

Well, I'll take my leave. I've put German radio on, that should wind her up... in fact, it's winding me up... nerk... german rappers...

Yay! You're still alive smiley - erm

You *will* remember...
I don't suppose you're going to the government and politics feild trip on 22nd November..? smiley - evilgrin

PACE?
Rammstein vs... N*snc? Seriously? That sounds soooooooo funny...
smiley - laugh But that...that I'd pay to see. How funny...

Erk, it's a story I'd rather go into offsite, if that's all the same.
6th form is okay, I'm beginning to get used to it, in fact I'm happily ploughing through yr7s with no regard for their personal safety whatsoever. I'm obviously beginning to fit in. Not a lot noteworthy is really going on, you know how it is, the same every day. WE're doing general studies which seems a waste of time.

Annoying. Is there nowhere online?
What was the distraction, then....?smiley - yikes

smiley - laugh

Sweet Lord, I feel very sorry for the poor bugger. Not something I'd wish on anyone.

Auf wiedersehen
