I can't believe I've only just realised how much of a hateful, spiteful child I am. I have no right to live.
Others undeserving of it, suffer while I sit here in my own world, untouched by anything. I don't care about anyone, I don't feel real any more. What's the point?

You don't feel real. You feel....powerless...you *want* to help these people, but perhaps you feel like others don't. You can. You just need to wait a few years. When everything is bad, feel good in yourself that at least you weren't so wrapped up in yourself to notice that everything *was* bad in the first place. You can't blame yourself.

You mean the full understanding of suffering etc? And self discipline and meditation are the path to self righteousness, I know the basics of it yes.
