I'm always happy to see more curry in the Guide! I think that with a bit more work, this Entry should easily get through. The only problems I can see are:
The cooking instructions are very vague - OK, it depends on your cooker, but couldn't give us some idea of how fast to cook it - a high heat, a slow simmer or something in between?
There's a couple of typos: 'feint hearted' should read 'faint hearted,' and 'chile powder' = 'chili powder'.
The line about 'I did my best' needs to be changed because it breaches the h2g2 rule against first-person writing.
Finally, I would rethink the title if I were you. Could you ever have 'the hottest curry you can make'? Surely, in theory, you could keep adding hot spices until you had something that breached international chemical weapons treaties! I'd suggest something like 'Brilliant Hot Beef Curry' instead.
Hope all that doesn't seem too picky - I'm just trying to help this Entry get accepted because I love curry!

I meant to say 'couldn't *you* give us some idea of how fast to cook it.' Serves me right for being a know-all!

I might have known that Ormy would be in here!
Anyway - I would also be happy to feature this in The Post recipe section, whether it makes it into the Guide or no.
Runs off to read the entry...

Hi Morally Challenged Banana (love the name!)
I would be very pleased to welcome you to the small band of contributors to <./>ThePost</.> recipes section. Perhaps a quick galop through the Recipe Archives - A690815 - would help to give you some idea of what has already been covered.
We have Mike and Elly dropping a few to us also, so alternating would take the pressure off having to come up with one every week would work very well.

Your Guide Entry has just been picked from Peer Review by one of our Scouts, and is now heading off into the Editorial Process, which ends with publication in the Edited Guide. We've therefore moved this Review Conversation out of Peer Review and to the entry itself.
If you'd like to know what happens now, check out the page on 'What Happens after your Entry has been Recommended?' at EditedGuide-Process. We hope this explains everything.
Thanks for contributing to the Edited Guide!

I was going to sneakily nick your copy, but I guess my plan's foiled now!
It will be an interesting test, yes. Who will hack it to pieces the most I wonder...?
