My Christmas and New Year were ok, thanks, hope yours were too.
What with one thing and another, I've been having a hectic time in r/l the last few months, and am now finding it a bit hard to get back into h2g2 and ace-ing. And I'm also trying to find what changes have been made while I've been busy.

I know what you mean, it can be quite hard picking it back up again, as things seem to move on pretty quickly as soon as you turn your back! We even have lots of new smileys 
Having said that the usual moans and groans haven't changed 
I had a quiet festive season, as I had a bug and slept through alot of it, but it was just me and my cats, so it didn't matter too much.
My parents say if i don't go home for Christmas next year, then they will come up to Scotland to stay with me - no discussion! 
Anyway, time to get dressed, taking my cat to the vet this morning as he is very sick - he is 15 and a half and I have a bad feeling about it, being a veterinary nurse means that I know what all the symptoms could be 
Still, fingers crossed, it is nothing too serious.

Hi Emmily,
Spiggy is still poorly, he is passing diarrhoea that looks like gravy He spent 24 hours in hospital on a drip last Friday. Although he is bright and happy, his tummy is not well. Poor wee soul.
I know time flies, I have been looking for a conversation thread and I got as far back as October and thought, I am sure it wasn't that long ago, but it could've been. Didn't find it in the end, but some of the threads I came across i couldn't believe that they were that long ago!
It won't be long before it is Easter!!
It is freezing in Scotland 
Time for bed I think!
