Alex is doing okay, after a variety of temporary jobs he's now passing the time working in a restaurant, and he's just volunteered to be manager of next-doors group 'Grounded'. He's currently running around getting gigs at the local school fetes for them. They're only 14-16 years old, so where they can play is a bit limited.

whether group/management or lighting etc., they all start from school and local fetes for experience and then to pub/clubs

Well, I hope they find somewhere else to play soon, next door's lad is the drummer, and as the drums are the largest and most difficult of the equipment to transport, they practice there. I'm a boring old fart, and tend not to listen to any music, but can't avoid them, they're not too bad, at least they don't give me a headache.

If, and that's a very big, gigantic *if* they ever reach the big time, remember you heard it here first.

The drums have a silencer, which doesn't make them silent, but does dull them a bit, or so I'm told.

Alex has got them their first photo-shoot with the local free paper on Friday. Yep, it keeps them all out of mischief
