None of them come here, so I'm safe enough in using this as a handy bit of cyberspace to note present ideas for friends and familiy.
J - jokes about her inner giraffe/ spirit animal, plus love of onesies = giraffe onesie, a la Miranda.
H - BBT fan, fancies a BaZnGa T.
S - Coco Noir is her new growed up scent.
(I'm now amused by the notion of "future presents"....)

There are some gifts that I continue to give to various relatives year after year. For instance, I have a nephew who loves to shop at Newbury Comics, a chain of stores that have eclectic merchandise, much of it pretty cool and hip. I gave the nephew a gift certificate to the store. Two other family members gave him certificates for the same store. I think he was in seventh heaven at so much spending power at that store.
My brother and his wife always serve coffee [usually hazelnut coffee] with dessert when the family gathers at their house. It's a little thing, but for as long as I've been going there I have given them hazelnut coffee as a Christmas gift. That means there's one less detail to worry about when they're planning dinner.

Galaxy Babe - eclectic editor Posted Jan 3, 2015
Last year while shopping for Mum's Tena Ladies I realised my Boots points were clocking up and thought I'd get a great discount when the time came to get my two daughters' usual box of "Soap & Glory" Christmas gift (the special box, release date tight security but they discuss it quite freely on Facebook). I had over £25 in points, so went along on release day for my two boxes, queued, along with about 50 other people getting the same boxes. When my turn came at the till, I asked the assistant to use my points, the boxes were £29 each. She said she couldn't "do it that way" I had to buy something *under* my points value, and I told her that was an insane policy. She offered to scrub the transaction if I was unhappy, and like a I took them anyway. My girls are happy and that's what counts, but I am still very annoyed with Boots' policy

I don't use the stuff myself, far too perfumy for me I prefer the simple, non-smelly, non-toxic, skin-friendly potions and lotions.

I'm quite simple -- just a bar of soap for the shower, and another one for the sink. I might also count dishwashing liquid when I wash the dishes at night.

I was sorely tempted by Bazinga bedlinen, available at my local supermarket a few weeks back.

Enjoyed the theory of everything and the imitation game-good DVDs for the parents.

For my parents? The simplest version I can find! I'll check which machine they have before I buy (the films won't be released on DVD for a while yet, only just out in the cinema, though tipped for awards)

Cuff links with hidden USB ports. Well, the Amazon reviews aren't very positive, but a fun geeky present anyway.
