Booked my daughter's flight home for Christmaas this morning. You have to plan these things in order to avail of the best prices! I decided I'd add £15 for hold lugagge in case she got any perfumes or booze as presents. And then I realised I was only booking a one-way flight TO Belfast, and any liquid-present-containing bags dilemma would only matter on the return leg.
Ah well, it will save her some of the fighting for space in the overhead lockers which has become one of the more unpleasant aspects of flying these days.
