About 2 years ago, a group of biker friends decided to invest in a cask of whisky. I wanted to join in, but my deposit cheque got delayed in the post and I was replaced in the syndicate. Oh well, that's how it goes.
About 6 months ago, one of the syndicate had to drop out, and as I was first on the reserves bench, I got to take his place! And my 18 bottles of Cragganmore arrived safely yesterday.
I want to keep most of them as an investment. So 2 questions:
1. What's the guidelines for storing whisky?
2. What am I bid for a bottle of 12 year old cask strength Cragganmore

Two trains of thought, on the storages
1> in your guts
2> in a cool dark place then in your guts
3> *coughs*
paying for it, promise someone a bottle if they contrabute, just give them an empty bottle

The "cool, dark place" approach. (It's the right one for storing most things, as a rule of thumb. Not the in-laws though, they tend not to like it.)
As for the second question - tch, the BBC leaves us for five minutes and we're turning into E-bay!
