Blimey haircuts are expensive! Spent 2 hours this morning getting my short locks tidied and coloured (to hide the grey). £70!!!!!
The weather today is beautiful - sunny, thought cold, so I walked to and from the salon. I've just made some home-made soup for lunch, and then I'll take Max for a walk in the afternoon sunshine. It starts to get dark around 4 o'clock, now, so anything that needs daylight hours has to be planned.
Oh, and my kindle arrived. Like any new technology, it'll take me a while to get used to it, but I'm unimpressed by the dictionary that comes with it, which I dont think will be reliable or comprehensive enough for Scrabble.

I just tell people that my hair is unnaturaly grey, and it costs £70 to het it dyed

Wow...your hair is so short that I can't think what they did to it to earn that! 
It really was one of the most beautiful afternoons I've ever seen, though. At this time of year, when you get a cloudless day it's breathtaking.

Especially in Lisburn - there was an eerie mist lying in the river valley which fair sparkled in the low afternoon sunshine.
But here's today's lesson: don't go dog walking in Hillsborough Forest on a Saturday afternoon - the place was packed, people queuing for a car park space!

Remember how busy it was when we climbed Slieve Donard? Why is it that places that appear to be rural and tranquil in NI are in fact often busier than some city centres ?

I probably need my hair thinned out but I don't have enough Polish on me for it! Thinking of waiting til I get home but even then it'll be a rush... but here's NOT as expensive, decisions, decisions... oh, there's blasted Christmas parties too, ugh...
