A fellow biker colleague and I decided we'd have a "bring your bike to work" day. So we've been avidly studying the weather forecasts and decided today was the day

So I took it out for a quick spin last night, to reassure myself that I remembered how to do it, and got ready for a nice early start today.

Honestly, it felt a bit like first day at big school, I was so excited! There was a light morning mist, but nothing too worrying, and I left at 8 to avoid the heaviest traffic. Most of the journey into town I could use the bus lanes, which was nice. Got here no bother in 30 minutes.

So, that's my first ride to work!

Nastier journey home, even though I left at 4.30. Couldn't work out why the Lisburn Road was jam packed, until I spotted the police cones down Tates Avenue, and then I remembered - the footie match tonight between Norn Irn and Lichtenstein.

Stalled twice, but at least got going again in under 5 seconds.

I think NI won it, Lafferty scored!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The reason I'm happy about that is cos Kyle comes from my town.

Yay, great result!
