Well, this morning, he got a phone call from the mayor's secretary (we live in a village), asking how many masks we would need in case of an airborne epidemic of swine flu.

There have been two cases of swine flu in France so far, and none is very serious.

I've been g**gling for some other numbers ; the only stats I could find dated from 2006 (does *that* reveal something already...?) :
In 2006, there were 5336 new cases of TB in France.
That means about 14 a day.
3015 of them were potentially contagious : about 8 a day.


Does anyone else find it a little that the officials don't seem that worried about a disease that had made many more victims than swine flu?

after all these years,I'm still skint, BUT why change habit of a lifetime

A friend's grandma always told him not to wash too often, it makes your skin thinner!!
