D-day is out with school

I finished school today, only to go home and find that finally my entry on D-day has been put on the front page on the 49th anniversary of the invasion: A1006606

I'm glad fo you. I finished school a few days ago, and I hate my school, its populated primarily by stoners, preppies, stoner preppies, genetic defectives and otherwise unlikeble peoples. There are few teachers worth their pay (and that isn't much either), few students with either knowledge or sense and a completely inept and ineffectual administrative staff.
Hope your school is better! And hope you have a fun summer

Thanks, unfortunately my school ain't much better, just spoiled rich kids with lawyer parents. extreme conservatives the whole bunch. one or two good teatchers and the rest are worthless.

isn't it both comforting and unsettling to know that each of us and our respective groups of non-idiot friends aren't the only ones who suffer so?

very good point. But what really makes me uncomfortable is the fact that I was given an unworthy grade from an english teacher that speaks and spells english worse than my whole class with one exception!

The further fact that this happens all the time everywhere is very unsettling indeed.

just a fact of life I guess. All our LA teachers are atleast good, some descent, and one or two absolutely excellent. the speech teacher doesn't know what the hell she's doing though.
in Jr. High I had an LA teacher who mispronounced Franklin Delano Roosevelt's middle name! and she mispronounced some Japanese terminology from a book we were reading right after she asked my how to pronounce them (and I told here how)!

After reading the secret garden my english teacher wrote the following question on the blackboard:
Why is Mary and Colin that rude?
That's not proper grammar! Infact I corrected her.
