Hi there...i am from Australia and there are 2 lotuses in my family, both owned by my dad. they are a Europa and a series two elan, both with the twin cam motor. they absolutley boot along, and corner like a cat on rails. If anyone want to give me some history or anything else on Lotus, that would be really great.

Have you had a look at A827598... Alternatively, if you just enter 'Lotus' into the H2G2 search engine at the top of the page...
(Not the BBC search box that appears at the very top of the screen but the one directly below it that says 'search h2g2')
By the way, welcome to h2g2 - and as you can see from the quality of the conversation you've just joined - we're all completely barmy here
