My life is in a depressing upheaval right now. I have no idea where I am going to be in July.

Upheaval is bad. We don't like silly things which make Sat depressed. 
One the other hand, without the occasional upheaval then things would get stagnant and boring, and I'm not sure I could handle Sat if she was boring, either.
Nyss - I've got plenty of flat spaces, as long as I clear away the books off them first. If you just want a shoulder or neck massage then the couch is fine. If you want a back massage, though, then the bed is better, although that's the realm I'm trying to stay away from at this point. 
Come to think of it, I'm sure I still owe Njan a massage from a few years ago. Can't think what for, though.
Ah well, it's a moot point anyway; I can't fit both of you on my bed just yet!

Oh I will; I have a new one arriving in may. 
It's currently a bit of a b*gger trying to fit queen-sized sheets and king-sized duvets onto my temporary single bed.
