Hello team! I'm starting a forum "newsletter" to keep everyone informed about new developments with the Rambling Misfits: additions to the roster, new rooms at Frink's Drinks, maybe even a surprise or two (????).
So just sign up in this here forum......

Oops......I shouldn't have posted this until tomorrow, when I have time to make the rounds.
It isn't an email thing, I just plan on putting updates in this forum. So once you've posted here, it will pop up in your list whenever I update something.......
Sorry about the confusion!

Yes please.
And I think it's about time I investigated Frink's Drinks.
Do you remember I was a brand-new researcher and yours was the
first home page I ever encountered. I sat and stared for a
moment, then picked up my brains and joined the team.
Since then I've been nesting at my home page, sightseeing at
other pages, and writing a few articles. And I am starting
to realize that the only way to avoid sensory overload and
maintain some kind of rudimentary control over this whole
experience is...where was I? What was that? Hello? Who turned
down the gravity?

Wow, my page was really the first you visited? Neat Aren't newsletters supposed to have a letter from the editor? Here goes:
I don't exactly remember when this place was it was all just fields, but I do remember when my softball roster consisted of just three names, and two were researchers I had known in the real world......it was a lot easier to find my way around h2g2 back then, but there are so many more interesting places to visit now.

Excellent timing TV's Frink. Baseball's World Series starting this weekend and all that.
Incidentally I asked about the origins of the name World Series in "Ask h2g2" and got some interesting replies. You may want to check it out.
Warning. A game of TAG is being played by some people who should really know better. Wowbagger is IT. I tagged him.

Thanks for the invite, Monsieur Frink (or is it Monsieur T.V.? So difficult to tell these days...).
In response to your editorial, I must admit that I joined H2G2 long after the fields had been built over, and I have never met any of the people who live here (even though I suspect that I work in the same building as at least one of them!). I am looking forward to the day I do meet them, though, and the first one I will seek out is you: I wanna play some softball! On top of that, "Frink's Drinks" can't just be a mirage, can it...?
