Robots are an odd subject.
Particularly when we consider that the real Marvin may come from
Japan or South Korea.

Oh I hope national origin doesn't determine whether they are "odd" or not.
I suspect that the first ethical dilemmae to be determined infront of the courts (and this will be where national law will (I expect) prevail over programming) will be to do with sexual and workplace relations: what goes in Tokyo may be inappropriate in Swaziland.
