When I tried to post the below journal entry, my stupid compooter BLUE SCREENED me for the first time in years and the first time on this site!
Oh, my! 
Me not happy.
Me very sacred... er, scarred..., uh, youm now wat I mean!
Just to be on the safe side, I shut down and started again, holding me breadth as I did sew.
Now, I am trepiditioniously gazing at my CUP and Moniter, wondering when I'm going to smell smoke.
Good thing my spectacles are safety glasses.
I wouldn't want a chunk of moniter glass in my ojos!

I had to venture out into the rain again.
The yard cat needed feeding.
Previously, I had to go out and get soaked on the bike riding to the kid's school to get a copy of her report card that she was hiding from me...
but no 
... Not while the child's awake...

Trouble is they reach the stage when they're awake later than you are. no privacy

Went through that ten years ago...
She would sleep in increments of 1, 2, 4 hours or until something woke her up. She would go to sleep basically from frustration, fatigue or boredom.
And yes, she had no concept of privacy. In fact she had no concept of her own bed...
Nowadays, she'll let you have all the privacy you want, as long as you do the same for her...
Which I am not about to do with all the herbal spell books she has somehow snuck into the house...

It makes me very leery of my 
because I don't think she's trying for a sibling.
Of course, since she is the best 
in the house, maybe I'm better off with her herbal excursions than her mum's supposed "quick and easy" muck

No, her mum's has gotten worse.
Uvula made some split pea soup last week and took some to work and called home to say not to eat it.
I had no intention of going anywhere near it.

when I tossed it in the bin!

Did it again about a half an hour ago.
Make it's stupid noise and gave a blue screen with a fatal error message.
I hit any key and it kept giving me fatal error messages.
I finally had to do a hard reboot.
Now it seems okay again, but it is a little wobbley.
Wonder if it is Windows doing. This is a 98 and they don't want to support it anymore.
Of course, it could be my fault because I don't take it into the shop very often... Nah. Couldn't be.
