South Eastern Conference Number 1 ranked LSU (Tigers) beat Number 2 ranked Alabama (Crimson Tide) in over time, 9-6. The game was close enough throughout to be compared to a cardiac stress test. There is a long standing rivalry between the two universities as well as the whole Sabin saga. Nick Sabin, current coach of Alabama, was formerly the coach for LSU. Under his coaching, LSU did not do well, and Sabin wanted more money. With Sabin's replacement, Les Miles, LSU played much better, very soon.
The video of Louisiana musician, David St. Romain, has been played quite a bit. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4A_22iRkwBk Haven't heard anything about the fans that traveled from Louisiana to Alabama, yet. If that game were at LSU, the tailgating crowd would have been huge.
