On Monday I am taking a professional exam - discounting my evening class language tests, it's the first in about 38 years!
I've done the written assignment, now the MCQs & practical 'stations' to do. Hope they've got good aircon at the venue.

Not too bad , thanks. At least not too hot going in so early & got a free bottle of water.
Multiple choice questions variable - some easy, some too ambiguous & some I just didn't have the knowledge to answer.
Practicals OK - we only had one real patient, the others were either actors or the examiner pretending to be a patient. Easy to think afterwards of things I should or shouldn't have said, but I think I will have managed a respectable pass. Have to wait about 4 weeks to hear results.
Shame they ran late so I missed one train & had nearly an hour to wait for the next. Got plenty of reading in!

I just get a certificate to show I've passed an MSc module in a subject area in which I specialise anyway....
So nothing new. I only did the course to get 'points' that we need to keep registered & it was being funded by my employers.
Do you need any qualifications to play doctors & nurses?

Just got provisional results - overall 79.7%. I'm pleased with that considering the lack of work I did!
