Hi Jabberwock! Beautiful sunny day here today.

Here in Angoulême; everyone says we are a "Microclimat", because no matter what the Meteo (weather forecast) predicts, the top of the hill does whatever it damn well wants...the rest of the Charente region may have snow, whilst us on top of the volcano are out sunbathing & vice versa. But it never really goes to extremes; there's been a hurricane & a few floods & a massive heatwave, but in general, i think they knew what they were doing back in the 14th Century when they built this place.

Sunny here, too. Though perhaps a bit chilly for JEllen and Terri's standards.

I evolve into a stalagtite immediately upon exposure to minus temperatures. Celtic Grade; Far und Heiss, doesn't matter...i am maybe cold blooded, just give me a nice hot rock to bask upon & i will be fine.

Ah. I am a mammal- I prefer temperate climes. I'd choose cold over hot. <laugh.

Ah, but the difference across the ponds is that UK has politicians who "own" newts & USA has politicians who are called Newt.
