They look beautifully healthy JEllen, congratulations on being good petunia Mommy!
Do you have them in hanging baskets? I find that's really difficult, they look great but need so much extra water.

Yes, it's a hanging basket. And yes, they need water every single day, a lot of it.

Phew, so it's not just mine then! I have a love/hate relationship with petunias; so rewarding in terms of instant colour & growth, but so damn demanding! Deadheading daily, watering to the point of obsession "sorry, have to get back to my petunias" & why, oh why, are they so sticky?!!!!
zdt*I've got a lovely maroon one, you would be jealous as hell!*

My petunias have been beautiful this year....the baskets have done exceptionally well...and they're one of my favourites too.

Well done - I was admiring some petunias on a bridge just yesterday. I didn't realise they were such hard work.
I wondered at first if this was a HHGTTG fan thread at first!
*waves to everyone in the thread*

Those are beautiful, JEllen. It must help to have a little beauty around right now.

Hope you are well and not too sad...
It would be nice to see you on flickr too, as well as webshots, if you get chance...*hinthint*

I doubt I will post to flickr, as I am feeling stretched thin at the moment. Too many pressing issues at home, not enough time.

Hi Ellen*waves* cynthesis was saying Micio had scratched you. I've still got a noticeable little scar from when my cat Sasha scratched me at least 16 years ago...pretty amazing!

Yes, poor Micio had to go to the vet today for her annual shots. She was not happy about it. I had a hard hard time getting her in her carrier. Luckily she has forgiven me, and I have forgiven her, and she is snoozing on the bed.
