I've had pierced ears since I was a teenager, but I haven't worn earrings much lately, and I accidently let them grow over. So yesterday I finally worked up the nerve to stop by the mall and get them repierced. I spent a little extra and got studs with ruby red stones instead of the plain steel ones, since I have to wear them for six weeks non-stop. It only stung for a second, and hasn't hurt since luckily. I like having them pierced now, I keep looking in the mirror. I splurged on a few new sets of earrings too.

Sounds good JEllen, we all need to do something like that once in awhile.
Oh, btw, saw a movie mentioned in the TV listings here that reminded me of the message I'd sent you (about The Princess theatre). I'd also seen both Spalding Gray's Swimming To Cambodia & Monster In A Box there.

jellen-I used to work in 1st retail 2nd wholesale jewelry so I had 3 in ea.ear.Well,I`ve had the same pair in my ears for over a year now. Well,my jewelry is hidden in back of a pile of stuff we`ve brought up from storage-but haven`t unpacked.Say, I just tried sending terri a card to the gabstir address & was informed that no such address exists????? I've been wondering about Terri too - she hasn't been in touch in a few days, which is a bit strange. Hopefully everything's all right.
I had my ears pierced as a teenager too, but I only wear earrings occasionally. I wanted to get my navel pierced but couldn't because of scarring problems 
oh well.
Got to go. Heavy day at work...
