Friday was a very long day in my neck of the swamp. I opened and closed the store.

Xena enjoys any attention and she really likes to be scratched under her chin.

Ooh, opening AND closing. Ugh!

good. not so good. Getting old and starting to wear out, I'm afraid. Roxie has heart problems, and today I discovered a lump on her throat. Buck was weakened by a serious illness (rat poison) last Thanksgiving, and now seems prone to heat stroke. Not good when you live in the desert!

I'm still fighting wrist/elbow/job problems. Nothing new or earth shattering, just the same old same old.

By the time I left on Friday, the rest of the staff was about to throw me out... "Quick, lock the front doors so we can leave and you can lock up after us and go home."

s and for Buck and Roxie. I wonder if the rat poison left Buck anemic or possibly his liver would benefit from some herbal detoxing.

Any improvement with the wrist and elbow problems?

Not much new here. I've been doing a bit more writing. That's about it for exciting news.

Between the usual end of the fiscal year spending frenzy (made worse by my boss) and the fact that I was off my meds for TWO WEEKS due to the incompetence of our mail-order prescription service, my staff has been ready to stick a stamp on my forehead and mail me to parts unknown, I'm sure...

Some overall improvement in arm, not that much unfortunately. Today is the first I've really been able to type much without a lot of pain since injections Thursday (more on that in my journal).

What would you recommend for de-toxing Buck?


And what's new with you? Has the killer filing cabinet been behaving itself?
